Incidencias

Partido de la segunda jornada de la Champions League disputado en el Signal Iduna Park de Dortmund.

It was the first time in seven meetings that Madrid had managed to win at Signal Iduna Park, with three draws and three defeat preceding Tuesday’s visit.

Gareth Bale gave Zinedine Zidane’s side a first half lead but there had been controversy moments before at the other end.

Sergio Ramos' handball on the line was not given as a penalty and Dortmund were left raging as Bale opened the scoring minutes later.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his side's second in the 50th minute, but just four minutes later it was 2-1, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring for the home side.

Both sides had chances to score the game's fourh goal before Ronaldo completed the win for Madrid, hammering in from inside the area.

Madrid now have six points from two games in their group, as do Tottenham, which leaves Borussia Dortmund, on zero points, with an uphill task to qualify for the last 16.
