Bayern Munich present complaint to UEFA over Spanish police action

There was an attack by the police on the fans during the half-time period of the clash on Tuesday night

The German side will also ask for explanations from the police for what happened during the interval

Bayern Munich have presented a formal complaint to UEFA about the behaviour of the Spanish police during the game against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“At half-time in the game between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid there were fierce attacks by police on Bayern Munich fans,” wrote the club in a statement on its website.

“Bayern think the Spanish police’s actions was completely out of place and excessive and have presented a complaint to UEFA.”

The German side will also ask for explanations from the police for what happened during the interval.
