Aubameyang helps Cristiano Ronaldo improve his image in Germany
An Instagram post from the Dortmund striker may ease the criticism the Portuguese was suffering
After being criticised by some of the German press for being provocative and arrogant, Cristiano Ronaldo’s image in the country has been given a boost courtesy of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang changed shirts with Ronaldo after Tuesday's game between Real Madrid and Dortmund and the Gabonese front man gave the jersey to his son. The little one was delighted with the gift and posed for a photo which was subsequently posted on Instagram: “@cristiano you’ve made my son happy,” the Borussia man wrote.
Now it’s time to see if Ronaldo reacts and replied to Aubameyang’s post. The Portuguese striker scored the opening goal in Madrid’s 2-2 draw in Dortmund on Tuesday night. Here’s the message posted on social media:
