A foul in the box by Sergio Ramos... ends up with Iago Aspas sent off

Madrid's Ramos clattered into the Celta player inside the area

But he managed to convince the referee it was a dive by Aspas

The match between Celta and Real Madrid had a fifth referee on the pitch. It was sErgio Ramos who 'signalled' the action which brough Iago Aspas a second yellow card.

The move began with Aspas controlling the ball inside the area. After giving the ball and receiving it once again, there was contact from Ramos in the back of the Celta forward.

Before Aspas had even fell to the floor, Ramos made a diving gesture to the referee to make sure Martinez Munuera didn't even think about pointing to the penalty spot. Instead, he approached Aspas and was quick to show him a second yellow card. Aspas has previously been booked for protesting a handball by Varane which was not given.

Celta were therefore left with 10 men for the final half hour of the game, despite the clear contact Sergio Ramos made with the Spain international inside the area.
