The Mexican international is "very happy" to be interesting Europe's biggest clubs

Mexican forward Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano has been one of the stars of the World Cup in Russia and his name has been linked with Europe's biggest clubs.

Among them are Barcelona and Real Madrid, something which makes Lozano "very happy," as he explained after Mexico's win over South Korea.

"The truth is that I am really happy that names of some big teams are coming out in relation to me," he said.

In response to which of the two teams he would prefer to play for, he answered, while laughing "the two" to keep things diplomatic.

He added: "I have to take things calmly. I am focused on having a good World Cup, I am really enjoying myself here."

Lozano, who currently plays for PSV in Holland, has become one of the most sought-after players in Europe this summer after his performance in the opening game against Germany, when he scored the winning goal.

The 22-year-old then set up the second goal as Mexico beat South Korea 2-1 on Saturday to make it two wins from two in Russia.

His power, pace and talent have not gone unnoticed by Europe's clubs, who will now all be keeping an eye on him in Mexico's final game against Sweden when they look to book their place in the last 16.
