The French coach has been singled out for picking Bale in his side

Bale was coming back from an injury and didn't even last the first half

It will take Zinedine Zidane a while to forget Sunday's Clasico defeat to Barcelona. The French coach is considered one of the responsible parties for Real Madrid's loss at the hands of a Lionel Messi-inspired Blaugrana at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Zidane's critics are unanimous and they come from all sections of the Madrid media cavern. Fundamentally, the analysis focuses on his starting line-up and his lack of ability to react according to how the game progressed.

In Diario AS, Antonio Romero comments on "the strange sensitivity that Zidane is showing with Gareth Bale" after he decided to include the returning Welshman in the Madrid side, only for him to be forced off injured again after making no impact. In the same paper, in the chalkboard section, the underline that Zidane forgot about Messi in the Clasico.

Marca also were unimpressed with some of Zidane's decisions. Jose Felix Diaz says that his "half-time teamtalk did not serve for anything." He is also critical of the lack of Isco and the delay in taking Casemiro off.

Eslewhere, in El Mundo, former Madrid striker Fernando Morientes say that Zidane "was too quick to bring Bale back into the starting line-up."

Lots of criticism for Zidane who seems to be trapped by the BBC.
