Ramos: Let Barça enjoy their moment, things can change...

Sergio Ramos has told Barcelona to enjoy their good form while it lasts - because you never know when it will end.

Real Madrid won 22 games in a row last season, but the Spain defender points out it was Barça who ended the season celebrating, not Los Blancos.

“Barça are in a good moment at the moment, let them enjoy it because you never know how long it will last,” he said at the LFP awards.

“Football can change like that. Last season we ended the year really well, Barça were worse than us, but at the end of the campaign they won the treble.”

The 29-year-old, who was named La Liga’s best defender for the 2014-15 season at Monday’s ceremony, also spoke about the Clasico defeat.

“It was a big blow,” he admitted, “but we have to turn the page on that loss as soon as possible.”

Finally, he was asked who deserved to win the Ballon d’Or, with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo named as the three finalists.

“It doesn’t depend on me. I don’t know what criteria they used to judge it, but all three deserve to be there,” he said.

“I have a little bit of envy that I’ve never got to experience a moment like it in my career.”
