Yaya Toure's agent hits out at Valencia's Gary Neville

Yaya Toure’s agent has launched a stinging tirade at Gary Neville as the Valencia coach looks for his first La Liga win this weekend. 

Neville has not won in eight league games since taking over in December and oversaw a 7-0 defeat at Barcelona in the Copa del Rey in midweek.

Having previously been critical of Toure in his role as an analyst on Sky Sports, Dimitry Seluk didn’t miss the chance to bite back.

“Gary Neville is a very nice person but a catastrophic coach,” he told The Sun.

“When he worked for Sky Sports, Neville criticised Yaya. But now he can’t win a game at Valencia.

“This is a joke. My advice to Gary: Go back to TV. You speak not well about Yaya. But speaking is easier than doing.

“What we see from your work at Valencia is you talk much better on television than you do in a real job.

“Valencia now are down. Last year they played Champions League. I think supporters from Valencia will say a big ‘thank you’ and can’t wait to send him back to TV - that’s English television, not Spanish.”
