Victor Valdes will NOT sign for Besiktas after deal breakdown

There has been a breakdown in negotiations between Victor Valdes and Besiktas.

The former Barcelona goalkeeper was close to signing for the Turkish side but now it looks like he may stay Manchester United, two days before the transfer window shuts.

Valdes was going to travel to Istanbul on Sunday to sign the deal, aeroplane ticket in hand, which was a three-year contract, but at the last moment the Turkish club changed the terms.

Valdes will not sign for them or give them a second chance after they decided to offer him less money than both sides had agreed on. 

He may now remain at Old Trafford, with David de Gea set to leave, which might give him a greater opportunity to play.
