They will invest in 'Tast', which will cook Catalan food

Catalán chef Paco Pérez has two Michellin stars

Pep Guardiola, Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano are going to open a new restaurant in the centre of Manchester. It will be a restaurant inspired by Catalan cuisine. The name will be Tast and it is set to open in the summer. 

The coach and two Man City directors have invested in the business which will be part of the Fazenda restaurant group. They have other veneus in the city and Soriano has a good relationship with them.

Tast will be on King Street, one of the most important locations in the city. It will be near another well known Spanish food joint, Gato Negro. There are others, including Tapeo and Wine, which Juan Mata has a stake in.

Catalan chef Paco Perez will be going there to lead up the project. He has a total of five Michelin stars. Two at Miramar in Llanca, and two at enoteca, in Hotel Arts de Barcelona. The fifth is in Restaurante Cinco, in Berlin.
