The Santpedor born gaffer spoke about Pique's comments

Pep also spoke about the incident involving Sergio Aguero

A good week for Manchester City has turned into a bad one with Sergio Aguero injuring himself in a car crash in Amsterdam. Along with Benjamin Mendy's long-term absence, Pep Guardiola's side have suffered ahead of their visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

"Luckily Aguero can come back and recover as quickly as possible," said Pep. "Aguero had a day off, I'm not a police officer. We will go out to play with 11 players, we have who we have, of course I would like to count on Kompany, Mendy and Aguero."

Beyond football, Pep spoke about the referendum in Catalonia on Sunday and Gerard Pique's tweet. "A perfect weekend? That we can vote," said Pep. "That they do it like what Pique said, with tranquility and everyone can express themselves. I hope it's a party of democracy for everyone."
