Manchester City have sold the player after confirming that he was not in Pep Guardiola's plans

The French midfielder has signed a two year contract

Samir Nasri, the Manchester City midfielder who was on loan at Sevilla last season, has joined the Turkish club Antalyaspor for two years, according to the club.

Nasri made 176 appearances for the Citizens, scoring 27 goals, and winning one league title, two League Cups and a Community Shield. He returned to City after a loan spell with Sevilla last year but did not figure in Pep Guardiola’s plans.

The 30-year-old French international, who has 41 caps for France, arrived in Turkey on Sunday to sign a contract worth €4 million per year.

His new club finished fifth this year and has made a poor start to this season, drawing one game and losing the other. Samuel Eto’o is currently playing there.
