Mario Balotelli is not a worry, insists Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was asked about an incident which saw Mario Balotelli argue with Jonjo Shelvey during his side's 2-1 win over Swansea in the League Cup.

The coach said:  "I don't know, but there is no problem, so we move on."

When asked if opposition players would target the Italian, Rodgers added: "I don't have to protect Mario, he is fine. There is no concern."

Real Madrid smashed Liverpool 3-0 in the Champions League and the two teams meet again this week coming at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

The Reds will be desperate to get a point at least after their home humiliation by the European champions.
