Manchester City will make a mega-offer to try and lure Paul Pogba to England

Manchester City are ready to pull out all the stops in a bid to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to information in England and in Italy, City, who have been fined for breaching UEFA's FFP rules before, will break the bank for the French international.

Italian media say that Manuel Pellegrini and Txki Begiristain will make a huge offer which will equate to 120 million euros euros for the player.

City's offer to Juve will be 65 million euros, with 55 million euros going to the player across the course of a five year deal. That would equate to a salary of almost 12 million euros per season

The English side will have to go big if they want to stop Pogba moving to Barcelona or Real Madrid. L'Equipe have reported they are the only sides he is interested in signing for.

Barça, for their part, remain in talks with the Italian club over the midfielder. Sporting director Ariedo Braida has been directly speaking to those who make the big calls at Juventus.
