Man United reject Victor Valdes could start a new life in Mexico

The Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz could be the new destination of Victor Valdes, who, according to various sources, is close to breaking his deal with Manchester United and will start negotiations with the Mexican club.

They are thinking of signing the Catalan goalkeeper who can play for two seasons, while they wait for Juan Garcia, 19, to mature.

Valdes, who turns 34 in January, is at war with Man United boss Louis van Gaal, who has separated him from the group at Old Trafford.

The former Barcelona stopper has also been linked with Newcastle, because of Tim Krul's injury, Liverpool and also Celta Vigo.

His representative Gines Carvajal said "He will leave Manchester United in January".
