Klopp brings Liverpool squad to Barcelona to watch Gladbach game

Jurgen Klopp has brought his Liverpool side to Barcelona, where they will take in Luis Enrique's side's Champions League game against Borussia Monchengladbach, according to the Liverpool Echo

The Premier League side headed out to the Catalan city after Sunday's surprise defeat to Bournemouth, their first loss since they were beaten by Burnley 15 games ago.

They will have a team dinner on Monday and will then train on Tuesday, with Klopp hoping the slightly warmer weather will give his players a boost ahead of the weekend's game against West Ham United.

Liverpool's players will then head to Camp Nou where they will watch former team-mate Luis Suarez's side take on Bundesliga outfit Gladbach.

Neither side has anything to play for, though, with Barça already having top spot confirmed and the German side guaranteed to finish third and enter the Europa League.

That means Suarez may in fact be given a rest, with Paco Alcacer likely to get another chance to break his goal scoring duck.
