Javier Hernandez set for €12m Bayer Leverkusen move

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will be heading to Bayer Leverkusen from Manchester United.

After weeks of speculation over his future, the Mexican forward will leave the Premier League side and head to the Bundesliga, according to Kicker.

Chicharito is not valued by Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and is allowed to leave, despite the club's only other forward, Wayne Rooney, being in poor domestic form.

United are expected to sign a striker before the transfer window closes.

Chicharito, who missed a penalty for Man United in their Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge, was on loan at Real Madrid last season.

The transfer to Bayer Leverkusen should be made official, for around €12million.
