Hazard has doubts over Zidane's coaching ability

Eden Hazard has been in Real Madrid’s orbit for several months. Florentino Perez is looking for new stars for a new project, and the Belgian, along with Robert Lewandowski and Neymar, is one of his targets.

However, despite admiring Zinedine Zidane, the Chelsea player isn’t sure if he is a ‘top’ manager.

In an interview with Le Parisien, Hazard put in doubt Zidane’s qualities as a coach.

“I want to work with the best managers in the world. I don’t know if Zidane is part of that category, he’s only been training Madrid since January,” he said.

Hazard does say that he feels flattered by the interest from Los Blancos and their French coach, who himself has praised the forward over the last few years.

“It’s always nice to hear praise from a player you admired when you were younger,” he added.

It’s one thing to feel grateful, though, and another to want to change scenery.

For now, the Belgian is happy at Chelsea: “I still have a contract here and I feel really good.”
