Guardiola "happy" with Manchester City's work in the transfer market so far
The Catalan coach hopes to secure more signings before the start of the season
Dani Alves could be the nect to join Bernardo Silva & Ederson at the English club
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said on Friday that he is "happy with the effort" the club have made during the transfer window so far following the signings of midfielder Bernardo Silva and goalkeeper Ederson.
Guardiola is preparing for his second season at the Etihad Stadium and is hoping for more signings. In the coming weeks he also hopes to land Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Dani Alves (Juventus), Benjamin Mendy (Monaco) and Ryan Bertrand (Southampton).
"I'm happy and the club have made a good effort this summer," the Catalan coach said from an 'Icons of Football' golf event in Belfry.

City have already closed thre signings of Silva from Monaco for 42.5 million euros and Ederson from Benfica for 34 million euros, giving Pep reasons to be optimistic ahead of the new campaign.
"We will be better, like everyone will be better," he added. We will be better next season. “During eleven months together it is a process, you can enjoy it, new games new actions -- the opponents always play well.
"Sometimes we get beat but the beautiful thing is the process. I was so happy last season in Manchester being there, it’s why I can’t wait for July 10 and to start again."
As well as signings, City have also let a lot of players leave the club. Enes Unal has joined Villarreal for 12 million euros, while Willy Caballero, Jesús Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta all left for free.

El Manchester City ya ha cerrado, antes de que se abra oficialmente el mercado, el próximo 1 de julio, los fichajes del centrocampista portugués Bernardo Silva, procedente del Mónaco, por 42,5 millones de libras, y del guardameta brasileño Ederson, llegado del Benfica, por 34 millones de libras.
"Seremos mejores que el año pasado. Al igual que el Everton también será mejor. Todos los equipos mejorarán, de eso no hay duda", prometió Pep.
El conjunto azul de Manchester, que fue tercero la pasada campaña en la Premier League, ha traspasado al turco Enes Ünal al Villarreal, por 11,9 millones de libras, y dado la carta de libertad a Willy Caballero, Jesús Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna y Pablo Zabaleta.
