Guardiola and Fabregas could be reunited at Manchester City

The two Catalans could link up in Manchester according to reports in newspaper 'The Sun' on Sunday

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola could be reunited with Cesc Fabregas, the Chelsea midfielder who he worked with at Barcelona.

The chances of Fabregas leaving Stamford Bridge become bigger everyday as he struggles to find a way into Italian coach Antonio Conte’s plans.

He has been linked with a possible move to Italy, with Milan and Juventus mentioned, but on Sunday The Sun published a story claiming the Spanish international is wanted by City.

Guardiola’s presence on the bench at the Etihad Stadium, plus City’s lack of creativity in the middle of the park, have led to the rumours.

The Sun say the operation could be done for around 22 million euros with Yaya Toure and Fernando not being handed many minutes under the Catalan coach.
