Gareth Bale is open to possibility of swapping Real Madrid for Manchester United

The English media insist that Manchester United's interest in Gareth Bale will see the Welshman eventually end up at the 'Red Devils'.

It seems that Louis van Gaal has asked the Old Trafford board for the signings of Mats Hummels, Kevin Strootman and Gareth Bale as he seeks to improve his current squad.

And the 'Sunday Express' have revealed a possible €102million offer for the Real Madrid star.

They suggest Bale himself is interested in the operation, keeping in mind he has not yet got fully going in la Liga BBVA, while he has also struggled to adapt to a Mediterranean country.

In the Premier League he would not only be the star attraction, but also much closer to his family

His performances for Madrid are good and Florentino Perez is not planning to sell him for less than he paid to Tottenham last summer, so United will have to spend big to land the forward.

The sum of money mentioned in the British press this Sunday would make him the most expensive player in the history of United, possibly in the history of football as well.
