Frank Lampard hails Pep Guardiola and Man City
The former England and Chelsea midfielder thinks Pep is bettering his Barca and Bayern days
Frank Lampard hailed Man City and Pep Guardiola after they smashed Tottenham 4-1 on Saturday.
"Give them the trophy now... well actually, leave it at Stamford Bridge until May to be fair! You can start the delivery process because the way they're playing at the moment, they're the best team in the country and maybe in Europe," he told BT Sport.
"With the ball they're the best; without the ball they're the best. They probably work as hard, if not harder than everyone else, and they have the best individuals. That was an incredible display."
On Pep, he added: "What I like about Guardiola is that at Barcelona he had incredible players who were already there adn at Munich he went to coach the best team in the league, but here City were not the best team and now they are a long way ahead of the rest and playing in a way which we have not seen before."
