Former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is banned from driving for six months with a suspended license

Jose Mourinho has been left without his license and unable to drive for six months after being found guilty by a court of driving his car, a Jaguar, over the speed limit one year ago.

Mourinho was caught by a speed camera on the outskirts of London, driving at 60 miles per hour rather than the permitted 50 miles per hour. The Chelsea manager accepted the charge.

The speed at which the case was closed leaves Mourinho unable to drive for six months, but his punishment is said, by the Daily Star, to have already started. Although the date of the hearing is unknown, it is thought to have taken place in May.

The Portuguese coach was driving his Jaguar close to the capital city, in the Esher area in Surrey, over the speed limit and had no choice but to plead guilty to avoid causing further problems.
