After two seasons at Porto he has decided not to extend his contract there and will be free to move where he likes this summer. He is said to have offers from England, Turkey, Qatar and China.
Liverpool's offer would allow him to play in the Champions League, as long as they get through the qualifying phases. He would have to compete with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius. Casillas let in 19 goals in 34 league games this season.
