Guardiola's club will pay £50 million for the right back

After Dani Alves decided to join PSG, Manchester City have the right back they have been desperate for

Manchester City and Tottenham have reached an agreement for the transfer of Kyle Walker according to reports from England that value the deal at £50 million. The English international will be Manchester City’s third signing of the summer.

After several weeks of negotiation, a breakthrough was made this Thursday. Manchester City increased their offer after missing out on Dani Alves, who they thought would sign for the club. The Citizens matched Tottenham’s £50 million asking price.

The signing will be confirmed in the coming days meaning Guardiola will have the first of the three full backs he wants this summer. The next player to arrive in Manchester could be Benjamin Mendy, the French left back, who currently plays for Monaco.
