Chelsea offer 75 million euros for Alvaro Morata

Rumours about the future of Alvaro Morata continue to gather pace while his fee begins to reach unimaginable figures dreamt up only a month ago.

The latest club to join the bidding war for the 23-year-old is Chelsea, who are prepared to spend 75 million euros to take the striker to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Many English clubs have cited Morata as a ready-made acquisition for Premier League and, to date, Arsenal are the only team who'd shown an interest in the former Juventus player. But their offer barely reaches 45 million and is unlikely to get Real Madrid's attention.

Chelsea would be willing to break the bank in order to secure Morata's signature and Antonio Conte wants to introduce various alternatives in attack, with the Spaniard regarded as an appealing option for the Italian coach.

Morata's future still ultimately depends on Zinedine Zidane. The Real Madrid coach wants him to stay at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu but the player is unwilling to sit and wait behind the seemingly untouchable "BBC" trio.
