Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "Bojan is the only player that nearly killed me"

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says that Bojan Krkic is the only player that almost killed him.

Mourinho is preparing his side to face Stoke on Monday, and remembered that the striker from Linyola featured in one of the more prominent moments of his career.

"Bojan is the only player that almost killed me with a heart attack," the former Real Madrid coach explained. 

“In the last minute of Barcelona-Inter Milan semifinal in the Champions League he scored an amazing goal - but it was offside."

Inter went on to win the tie and then beat Bayern Munich in the final.

Mourinho also recognised that Bojan, who has found some form after a slow start to life in England, will pose a threat when Chelsea play Stoke. 

“He is a dangerous player, a very dangerous player," he continued. 

"He's adapting well to the Premier League, which is never easy for a striker but he's a very dangerous player.”
