Various supporters were obliged to hand over their flags before the game

The requests were made by security at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday

It is not the first time there has been controversy with Esteladas, but that does not mean it's provoking any less outrage among fans of Barcelona who have travelled to Madrid on Saturday for the Copa del Rey final at the Vicente Calderon against Alaves.

Several Barça supporters were requested by agents of the National Police, located in the first cordon of security access to the stadium, to hand over their flags before the game. It didn't go down well among the fans who feel it is a repressive action for ideological issues that have nothing to do with security surrounding the final.

Aware of the possibility of this happening, the group of lawyers Drets this week sent a request to the Ministry of the Interior, the Delegation of the Government in Madrid and the Spanish Federation with which they asked to avoid the prohibition and seizure of Esteladas, hoping to avoid the events which happened one year ago in the last cup final between Barcelona and Sevilla.
