I am looking forward to seeing the front covers of the Madrid press on Wednesday. And the openings of all the radio and television shows which make up the Madrid media cavern. To see if they treat Cristiano Ronaldo with the same toughness with which they dealt with Leo Messi. Keeping in mind, above all, that the Portuguese player has been accused of defrauding the tax office 14.7 million euros, four times more than the Barcelona star!

Titles such as "Messi dirties his image by making traps to avoid paying taxes" and "A symbol under suspicion" served to attack Messi on June 13, 2013 (curiously four years to the day ago) when the Argentine was first accused of tax evasion on his image rights worth 4.1 million euros. Will we see the same fierceness against Cristiano Ronaldo?

The cruelty from the anti-Barcelona media, venting their rage on Messi, led to insults against the Barcelona forward (he was called the "drawf defrauder") should now be reproduced and multiplied against Ronaldo, who has (supposedly) done the same crime but worth four times as much as Messi. At very least I expect the title: "Bicho under suspicion". But I think that will be a lot to expect...

What is true is that Messi was sentenced to 21 months in prison, a sentence which was ratified just a few weeks ago by Spain's Supreme Court. If we look at it proportionally, what punishment can Ronaldo expect? Should he actually go to prison? Messi didn't as is his sentence was under two years, but if it was longer... They're questions which, for now, don't have an answer. For now...
