If against PSG Barcelona played 90 minutes thinking about having to overcome the disaster at Parc des Princes, and each goal was a way of rubbing out the comedy of errors they had made, Wednesday night has to be different. In Turin, they lost. They let in three goals. But Barcelona had chances too, and only Buffon’s fingertips kept them at bay. They beat Juve’s defensive set-up at times, so the mentality here has to be different, not about trying to avenge a disaster but instead, coming back from an uncomfortable situation.

This Barcelona that are fans of epic nights, might also think about a penalty shoot-out. Beating Juve 3-0 and going through extra-time would not be an abnormal situation. So there’s no need to watch the video of the first game a lot, just correct the errors and go about the new match in a different way. Against PSG Barcelona had the best part of a month to work it out, in that time the coach announced he was leaving, the tactics changed, and so on. This time, forget there was a first leg and think about the 90, or 120 minutes, as if it were a single game and like this, we will have the chance to reach the semi-finals.

Seeing the faith shown by the players in the remontada at Camp Nou, if in any moment during the game Barcelona have a scoreboard that allows them to keep dreaming of Cardiff, you can be sure that the more Italian looking side will be that of Luis Enrique. This Barcelona deserve to continue in the Champions League.
