The Milan defender's been in talks with the Ligue 1 side

Leonardo Bonucci is set to follow Italian teammate Gianluigi Buffon to Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report in Le Parisien.

The French newspaper claims that AC Milan defender Bonucci has an agreement in place to link up with Neymar, Tuchel, Al Khelaifi and Buffon in Paris.

Talks between the player's agent and the French champions have progressed well but Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso must now be convinced to sell, though.

It would likely cost PSG at least 42 million euros for the centre-back, who joined Milan from Juventus last summer.

However, Milan need to sell this summer after being sanctioned by UEFA last month for breaching Financial Fair Play rules, which saw them banned from this season's Europa League.

Bonucci made 42 appearances in his debut season at the San Siro, scoring two goals and taking on the role as captain.

Like Milan, though, PSG are also under the watchful eye of UEFA to ensure they comply with Financial Fair Play rules and need to sell players this summer if they want to sign.
