This is part of ANOTHER campaign to destabilise Leo Messi

Lionel Messi will sign a new contract with Barcelona. It's certain. It couldn't be any other way. And it will not go any other way. Lionel Messi will renew with Barcelona because he wants to do it. And money will not be an issue, not for the player or for the club. Because there is no discussion possible. Messi will take what he deserves, as the bst player in the world and in football history. It doesn't matter what Cristiano, Bale or Neymar earns. Messi will earn more than them because he's better (a lot better) than them. Money, I insist, will not be a problem. 

And the sporting project will not be a problem either. Because Barcelona are constructing the best team possible for Messi to be happy at Camp Nou, and to keep winning titles. They are making good signings for the future and creating a new spinal cord for the team. So Messi will be surrounded by players who will make his life easy on and off the pitch. Barcelona know what Messi's priorities are and are taking them into account. 

So, why has he not renewed yet? Because there is no rush. His contract expires in June 2018, a year and a half away, and Leo is sure of himself and his relationship with the club so he has no anxiety over a new deal. Nor do the club. They know Messi wants to continue at Barcelona. In fact, he wants to finish it here, which is where it started. The renevation will happen naturally, without letting external pressure have an influence.

Pressure and campaigns. Like that of Marca, with a front page in which they announced Messi told Barcelona he did not want to renew in July. One more lie to destabilise the Blaugrana crack. Another attempt to stop him because they cannot do it on the pitch. But luckily Messi rises above these manipulations. And he knows perfectly well what he watns. And that's to continue at Barcelona because it's his team. And it always will be.
