FC Barcelona made him a star. Like his compatriots, from Romario to Neymar. Rivaldo to Ronaldinho. But now he has gone back on his Blaugrana past. And what's more, he's done so by using his famous goal against Compostela, one which delighted Cules the world over and even made his coach, Bobby Robson, put his hands on his head. 

Ronaldo was interviewed by Canal #0's Minuto 0. There he remembered his goal, a mixture of technique, skill and persistence. But what was surprising was his final comment. "I would have liked that this goal came in a Real Madrid shirt." What? Is such ingratitude possible?

Well, yes. That's what mercenary footballers do. Those who feel the colours of no team. They live for money. And fat Ronaldo, yes, fat, showed on television that he never was a Cule. And that the money that Florentino Perez gave him touched his heart more than the love of Barcelona fans in his season at Camp Nou. 

Fat Ronaldo, a traitor. One of a large list of stars that Barcelona sold to Madrid, like Laudrup or Figo. But this hurts more. Because he is undermining everything he got playing in Blaugrana. It would be wise to recall that when he went to Barcelona he came from the sad Dutch league. And he became a world class crack here. Although later he went to Inter. And the Madrid. And then Milan.
