The French side are determined to bring in the former Barcelona man

PSG have joined Chelsea on the list of clubs that want Luis Enrique to be their next coach, as they plan to sack Unai Emery at the end of the season.

Sport contributor Emilio Perez already hinted in an article in El Periodico de Catalunya that Luis Enrique was photographed on a Qatar Airways flight to Doha, where PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi lives.

The reality is that PSG want a coach who can take them to Champions League glory. Last season Lucho's Barca humbled the French 6-1, overcoming a 4-0 first leg defeat.

Real Madird beat PSG 3-1 in the last 16 first leg this year and seem poised to knock out the French yet again.

Zinedine Zidane is another target, if the Frenchman does not stay at Real Madrid. Conversations with Zidane have taken place but he has not made up his mind about his Madrid future.

PSG want a coach with a winning mentality. And Zidane can do that, having won the Champions League twice in a row. Luis Enrique also won 9 out of 14 possible titles while at Barca.

The final decision will have something to do with PSG's dressing room heavyweights' opinion. Neymar and Dani Alves have worked under Lucho at Barca, and had a decent relationship although Ney fell out with Juan Carlos Unzue, then Lucho's No 2.

In Alves' case, Lucho always backed his renewal with the club and publicly lamented his departure to Juventus.

CHELSEA OFFER

Sport have already reported that Chelsea want Luis Enrique to head up their project. Although the Blues wanted him immediately, Lucho prefers to start with a club in the summer and create entirely his own project.

Lucho will have to make his mind up in the coming weeks. London or Paris? Chelsea or PSG? In any case, two very interesting options.
