PSG and Ibrahimovic are waiting on Ronaldo's future

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his agent, Mino Raiola, will have to be patient and await the outcome of Cristiano Ronaldo's proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain before knowing how likely it is that the Swede will renew with the French club. At the moment, the positions of both parties are far apart.

PSG's priority is to sign Real Madrid's Ronaldo, but the signing is not guaranteed and the club's owner, Al-Khelaifi, does not then want to miss out on the chance to renew Zlatan's contract. The striker has a formal proposal to extend his deal for one more year on identical terms to his current contract. Another year on top has not been ruled out, either, although that would imply that he would then move straight to Qatar, where he would become the promotional image of the country and their 2022 World Cup.

Ibrahimovic and Raiola are not in agreement. Both understand PSG's ambitious move for Ronaldo, but their patience has a price superior to the club's current offer. The Swedish striker accepts waiting and if and when the renewal arrives he would want a 12 million euros salary for two years. And a second year without conditions or exotic adventures.
