Nabil Fekir "dreams" of playing for Barcelona

Nabil Fekir has not given up hope of one day playing for FC Barcelona, The young Lyon player wants to return from injury stronger than ever and still dreams of one day playing for the Catalan club.

"In my head, I have a lot of dreams," he said in an interview with L'Equipe. "I want to give my all for Lyon so that I can sign for a big club. That is my aim. My favourite team is Barcelona, but I know I need a lot of work... To play for Barça is my dream."

Fekir is 22 and is coming back from a serious knee injury which took him out of the game just when he was experiencing his best moment as a professional. Now he is counting down the days until he can make his comeback. 

"I'd like to be back by March. If earlier, then even better. If it's later I'd be upset, but I'd prefer to lose another month and for my knee to be completely healed than to risk damage in the future." 

He arrived at Lyon in 2013 and was named Ligue 1's Young Player of the Year in 2014-15. He's an attacking midfielder nad has already been capped by France, replacing Antoine Griezmann in a game against Brazil.
