The Roma sporting director wants to sign the PSG star

The midfielder could leave Paris, looking for more game time ahead of the World Cup

Sevilla will have an opponent when it comes to trying to sign Javier Pastore from PSG. No more or no less than their former sporting director, Monchi, who wants to bring the playmaker to Roma.

Pastore needs minutes. Unai Emery has only given him 387 minutes in 13 games in Ligue 1, little, too little, for a star of his talent. Ahead of the World Cup, he needs more playing time.

The central midfielder wants to be in Jorge Sampaoli's side, so he is open to leaving PSG and both Sevilla and Roma are attractive destinations. Without forgetting Inter Milan - they have also joined the race.

After starting and scoring against Nantes, the player told RTL: "It's good to start, I'm happy. I hope to continue like this and play more minutes. It's normal that ahead of a World Cup a player needs to play and let his coach see him. When the moment arrives I'll think, but that depends on how many minutes I get here. We'll see what happens in the winter window. I like Italy and their league a lot. I know Inter's sporting director very well (Walter Sabatini). He took me to Palermo. He's a good griend, we have a great relationship."
