Not to Cristiano, not to Messi, not to Griezmann.... Balotelli's Ballon d'Or goes to...?
'SuperMario' always goes against the grain and he wouldn't give the award to any of the three favourites this time around
The race for the Ballon d’Or is alive. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann are, according to the betting odds, the top three candidates but there are other names in the mix too.
In an interview with Telefoot, Mario Balotelli, one of the sensations of the season in France with Nice, has stated whom he thinks should win the award. Not Messi, not Cristiano, not Griezmann. But Barcelona’s Luis Suarez. As usual, mad Mario goes against the grain.
The French site has run a poll with 50 per cent of voters saying Ronaldo should win, 28 per cent saying Griezmann and Messi is down in third with 18 per cent.
