Marco Verratti's agent confirms Toni Freixa talks, denies Barça move

Marco Verratti's agent, Donato Di Campli, has admitted that he had contact with Toni Freixa, one of the five candidates to be the next FC Barcelona president. However, Di Campli has discarded the idea of Verratti playing for Barça next season. 

Di Campli was speaking to Calciomercato: "I am in contact with a lot of people, I speak with so many people that this does not mean anything. Marco is abosultely calm because he's fine in Paris, he has a long contract [until June 2019]."

"Any club that want him must speak directly with the PSG owners. I have nothing to add," explained the Italian agent, who admitted that he had spoke on the telephone with Toni Freixa. Verratti has spent some time on holiday in Formentera recently. PSG began training this week, although Verratti, among others, is still off. He's due to link up with Laurent Blanc's side in the coming days.
