Luis Suarez could have signed for Paris Saint Germain in the summer but chose Barcelona

Luis Suarez will be ready to play on Saturday for Barcelona, but if Paris Saint Germain had their way he would be making his debut for them this weekend. 

As reported by France Football, they tried to sign the striker in the summer, offering Liverpool Edinson Cavani to try and reduce the cost of the transfer. 

Despite their pressure, Suarez had wanted to move to Barcelona for a long time and his family ties tipped the scale in favour of the Catalan giants.

Suarez is the cover star of France football which describes him as a cannibal, ahead of the player's appearance against Real Madrid on Saturday, the first since he bit Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
