Neymar is one of the best paid footballers in the world after his world-record €222 million transfer to PSG. PSG will pay the player €30 million net per year, double what he was making at Barça. In other words, he will earn €2.5 million a month or a mere €82,191 per day, €3,424 per minute or €57 per minute.
In addition to his salary he will receive image rights of nearly €20 million per year without forgetting his signing on fee of €40 million paid to Neymar’s father and representative.
Neymar now earns almost as much as Leo Messi (€40 million net per year), although he has not yet won the Ballon d’Or. He will earn more from his club than Cristiano Ronaldo, whose new contract is worth €23.6 million per year, but Cristano’s image rights income will take the final figure up to around €50 million.
