Paris Saint-Germain are not giving up on making a star signing for next season. After ruling out buying Neymar in the summer, the club’s owner, Nasser Al Khelaifi, is ready to go all out for Cristiano Ronaldo.

In France they are convinced that PSG’s Sheikh can get the deal done to bring in the Real Madrid forward. In fact, they can’t even wait until next season to see him in a PSG shirt. ‘France Football’ have already dressed him in the French club’s colours, certain he will arrive in June.

The publication says PSG are after five big names as they look to move forward on the pitch. As well as Ronaldo, they mention Leonardo as sporting director, Diego Simeone as manager, Jan Oblak as goalkeeper and Lassana Diarra in defensive midfield.

Elsewhere, ‘Le Parisien’ go further and assure that Al Khelaifi and Jorge Mendes have a verbal pre-agreement that PSG will be Ronaldo’s first option in the case that he leaves Madrid.

Ronaldo currently earns 21 million euros net per season, a figure which would not be a problem for the Sheikh.

It should be remembered that last November, when Madrid and PSG met in the Champions League, the Portuguese international publicly flirted with Al Khelaifi, making a public gesture which led to speculation, and Laurent Blanc, who he exchanged a few mysterious words with.
