Brazilian full-back Dani Alves has decided to take control of a situation at Paris Saint-Germain which was threatening toget out of hand.
Despite only having been at the club a few months, he is already one of the leaders in the dressing room and has used that status to try to mediate in the war of egos between Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
Alves took the bull by the horns and on Wednesday organised a team dinner to try to reduce the gap which there is between Neymar and Cavani, according to L'Equipe on Thursday.
The reponse from the players was unanimous. All of the first team players turned up at the restaurant Victoria in Paris, which has views of the Arc de Triomphe.
L'Equipe consider that Alves' gesture and the fact that all the players went to dinner may mean a rapprochement between Neymar and Cavani to iron out rough edges, despite the Brazilian's request for the Uruguayan to be sold.
