Victor Valdes could sign for Valencia after Diego Alves injury

Victor Valdes could sign for Valencia next season, after a collaborator with Gines Carvajal, his agent, met with executives from the Mestalla side and his name was mentioned heavily.

At the meeting, not denied by Valencia, he would have negotiated a contract for the Catalan goalkeeper, who did not travel with Manchester United to the United States after Louis van Gaal left him in England.

Valdes has a contract with the Red Devils until June 2016 and the idea is Valencia would make a loan offer for him until then, before giving him a two-year deal depending on his performances.

Valencia's goalkeeper Diego Alves is out until January 2016 after suffering a cruciate ligament injury at the end of last season.
