Valverde: This is another trophy to Barcelona, it's everything to us
Ernesto Valverde believes the Spanish Super Cup is more important to his side than to Barcelona.
The Athetic Club coach saw his men win 4-0 at the new San Mames and now travels to the Camp Nou for the return on Monday.
Asked how important the trophy is to Athletic, he replied: "For Barça, it’s one more, of a possible sextuple.
"It’s not like winning the Champions League or the league - but it means everything to us because it has been such a long time since we won a trophy."
He continued: "We should have their goal in our sights during the whole game.
"We won’t be going into the game looking at the clock and counting the seconds because that would be a big mistake."
