The sale of Granada CF is completed in Barcelona

The Italian Gino Pozzo, owner until now of Liga club Granada, and Jiang Lizhang have this Tuesday completed the sale of the club to the Chinese businessman.

The signing took place in Barcelona, and Lizhang will on Wednesday travel to the Andalusian city of Granada to take charge of the club.

The company owned by Lizhang, Link International Sports Limited, reached agreement with Pozzo for an amount of 37 million euros in a meeting in London on May 21. The Spanish sports counsel gave the green light for the deal to be completed last week.

The Chinese businessman will spend the rest of the week in Granada, where he will have talks with the city mayor, Francisco Cuenca, and will present his project to the media.

The installment of the new owner will also be key to complete the signing of the club's new manager. Paco Jemez of Rayo Vallecano is expected to replace Jose Gonzalez in the dugout at Granada next season.
