SPORT catch Florentino Perez red-handed: "Madrid have 11, Barça five..."
In a video which SPORT has had access to, filmed after the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico on Saturday, Madrid president Florentino Perez taunts a Barcelona fan about the number of European Cups won by each side.
The Barça supporter is in a box at the San Siro close to Perez, who was congratulating his players for their penalty shootout win over Atletico.
As the celebrations were going on, the shout aimed at the Madrid president was: “Florentino, you have to recognise that Barça are the best!”
At the same time as showing five fingers, Perez turned around and responded: “[Barça] have five! We have 11!”
In reference to some of Madrid's early European triumphs, the Barça fan then said: “But they are from a ‘no good’ era.”
And Perez’s final reply, while showing on his hands five fingers followed by 11 fingers, was: “As of now, we have 11..."
