Sergio Ramos was lucky not to be sent off for dirty foul on Carrasco

Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid captain, should have been sent off in the Champions League final.

Late in the game with Yannick Carrasco on the break, Ramos lunged into a cynical foul to bring him down when he was rushing towards Madrid's goal.

It wasn't as clear a red card as Javier Mascherano's in the Copa del Rey final, but by the book this too could have seen a red card.

Mark Clattenburg did not see it like that and ended up just showing the centre-back a yellow card.

Ramos went on to score a penalty in the shoot-out and lift the Champions League trophy.
