Sergio Ramos names his top three coaches: Ancelotti, Aragones and Caparros

Sergio Ramos has ignored former boss Jose Mourinho when picking the three best managers he has worked with throughout his career.

Instead, the Real Madrid defendder named Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Aragones and Joaquin Caparros

And in a further dig at Chelsea coach Mourinho, Ramos said that Ancelotti benefitted from having previously played the game -- something which Jose never did.

"Ancelotti is very important [to Madrid]: He was a player himself, he knows all about players who come in from outside the club and he understands the problems they might have," Ramos explained in an interview with FIFA.

"He notices how a player settles in, whether he makes an effort to open up to his team-mates or not. He’s a coach who takes you aside, talks to you and makes everything as smooth as possible, both on a professional and personal level.

"That’s the key to success, which is why he’s a truly great coach.

"In my view, he’s one of the best I’ve had in my whole career. There’s Luis Aragones, then you have Joaquin Caparros, who really believed in me when I was a nobody. I have had some fantastic coaches and Ancelotti’s definitely in the top three."

Ramos is currently out of action injured and hasn't played for Madrid since coming off after nine minutes in the win over Sevilla earlier this month.
