Sergio Ramos' Champions League final goal was offside

Real Madrid opened the scoring in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid through Sergio Ramos' header, but the Spaniard was clearly offside.

In the 14th minute Toni Kroos whipped in a free-kick, which Gareth Bale nodded on, and Ramos beat Stefan Savic to prod it past Jan Oblak.

However, when Bale headed it, Ramos's whole right leg was offside, and the linesman should have spotted it but did not put up his flag.

If that turns out to be the goal that wins Madrid the final, and denies Atletico their first, it will prove to be hugely controversial.
